What I'd wear to....

Now that we are starting to get more sun, I wanted to try and plan some outfits so I am ready to go! I included outfits for mundane places like the supermarket too as I feel they have become a somewhat fashion parade for me recently! So lets get into the outfits...

1. Bottomless Brunch

My best friend and I recently went to brunch when I visited her in Leeds. It was so nice to be out in public and able to sit inside and eat! I stayed true to brand and of course wore an all black outfit. I wore this black shirt dress from Zara - a summer staple piece especially if you're struggling with choosing an outfit. This dress goes with so many different types of shoes including white chunky trainers, dad sandals, slider shoes and heeled sandals so it's perfect for many occasions and can be dressed up and down. I paired it with my black Zara wedges and a black clutch from Nasty Gal. To finish the look, I added a big and bold headband to tie in all the black. I love this outfit and felt a million dollars in it.

2. Casual Walk

I'm not a huge fan of going for walks, but if I can get an iced coffee whilst on the walk then I am definitely more likely to say yes! I am also absolutely obsessed with trench coats so any excuse to wear one and I will. For this casual walk look I paired my classic black leggings from Fabletics with matching sports bra and a simple black tank from Zara. I have always been a black ankle sock gal but recently have been enjoying longer white socks with white trainers. This look has been around a long time and I am definitely pretty late the party, but better late than never! Then obviously finish the look with a trench. This trench is from Primark which I got in the sale for £15 a while ago. Though it has been a staple in my wardrobe since I got it, I have been desperately trying to find a better one. This search has been extremely unsuccessful as all trenches seem to absolutely drown me. But as soon as my dream trench from H&M comes back into stock, it's gong straight in my basket.

3. Dinner and Drinks

As we have been unable to dress up for practically a whole year, I'm now taking any opportunity to dress my best and say yes to any plans. This dinner and drinks look consists of my new dress from Zara that I predict I will live in this summer. It's so perfect for any occasion as it will look cute with heels and trainers. I've never been totally into blue (except blue jeans), but this just screams Italian holiday- eating pizza and gelato- which I am absolutely here for! I paired the dress with these simple heeled sandals from Kurt Geiger and my beautiful H&M mini bag so that the dress and pattern on the dress can really sing and be the centre of attention. Pop on a pair of sunnies and I'm good to go.

4. Supermarket

I know this one is so random but since we were unable to go anywhere but the supermarket for months, it became my runway. I love matching sets, especially matching tracksuits, and have a real love for street-style and making casual outfits look chic and expensive. This is my favourite tracksuit from the Saffron Barker range from In The Style as it is a beautiful colour and the jumper is a fleece style, not a hoodie. Again I paired this look with high white socks and white trainers, making the outfit feel more put together and some effort has been made. And finally, I believe tracksuits pair so well with a low middle parted bun so that finished the look nicely.

5. Chill-day

This outfit was a favourite of mine last year for summer because it is so easy. There are two different ways to wear this depending on how hot it is. I bought these black shorts at the beginning of last summer and have worn them nearly to death. This top is from Pull & Bear and has a cool puff sleeve by the shoulder. If in summer it was too warm for long sleeves, I would swap out the top for the classic Zara black bodysuit. Though I have captioned this Chill Day, I would be happy to wear this to most places as it is such a comfortable outfit.

6. Day Trip

This next outfit is a new style I'm trying out. I've been quite obsessed with the 'London Girl' style which mixes masculine and feminine styles but looks incredibly chic. This style requires a really great trench that goes with every outfit. This trench/boyfriend coat is from ASOS and I absolutely loved it... on the model. I first ordered a 12 as I wanted it to be oversized but it drowned me. As I really loved it, I then ordered an 8 (as pictured) but this still had so much excess material and as I'm only 5'3, it was far too long. I am so disappointed because I really loved it but I managed to style it before I sent it back. This outfit begins with an oversized white shirt and these structured grey H&M trousers. Added on top of that is the trench and the green jumper from the previous tracksuit. This jumper provides a hint of colour to an otherwise neutral outfit. Finally, finishing it off with this structured bag and flat slip-ons, both from H&M, and a pair of sunglasses really completed the look. I really enjoy how this outfit isn't figure hugging but makes me feel extremely feminine and classy.

Hope these have been helpful!

All my love

Gracie Marie Keenan
