How to Style... A White T-Shirt
Welcome to the first blog in my new series called 'How to Style' where I take one item and style it in four or five different ways. This helps me when buying new clothes as I tend to buy clothes without considering what I'd wear with it. Styling one item multiple ways helps remind me of what I already have. For the first blog in the series, I chose a simple white t-shirt - a staple item featured in most wardrobes more than once. I recently purchased the white t-shirt featured in all the pictures. It was a bargain from H&M at only £3.99. I love the way it looks so will definitely be stocking up on more.

So, first outfit I created is this casual summer day look. Starting with the t-shirt, I paired it with these new beige trousers from Zara which are extremely comfortable and make me feel quite sophisticated. I then added loads of black accessories including my trusty black clutch from Nasty Gal and my dad sandals from Shein. Luckily my watch strap and phone case are black so tied in well. I finished the look with my chunky gold hoops and black sunglasses. I loved this look so much when I was creating these that I am actually wearing it as I type!

My next outfit was a spur of the moment idea that paid off and I love it! Whilst creating these outfits, I saw this skirt in my wardrobe and suddenly got some inspiration for an outfit. I haven't been confident enough to wear this skirt yet so decided to have a play. I call it my jellyfish skirt because the bottom is cut into strips and floats around like a jellyfish when I walk. Because the skirt is so dramatic, I think it pairs really well with the white t-shirt as a juxtaposition. I kept everything else in the outfit quite simple so I didn't detract the attention from the skirt. I went with small gold hoops, Zara wedges, small black bag and ponytail. The outfit then felt like it was missing something so I grabbed my long gold necklace to finish it off. I am so happy with how this outfit turned out and I feel like I could be brave enough to wear it soon!

This next outfit is the most casual of them all. This is the sort of outfit I would wear to Uni if I still went! However, as I don't go to Uni anymore, I would wear this travelling or on a coffee run or even a casual day trip. It's so comfortable and has been slightly inspired by Lorna Luxe's aeroplane outfits, which always look effortlessly chic. These joggers are a part of a tracksuit from In The Style that I wear constantly as the colour is stunning. I then added some gorgeous earring sets from Orelia that match the joggers exactly, my white socks and platform trainers and then my new black cap which is a holy grail for when you miss hair wash day. For a bag, I couldn't decide between my black over the shoulder or a black canvas bag. I loved the way they both looked so decided to add pictures of both.

For this next outfit, I got inspiration from a picture of Victoria Beckham on Pinterest. She was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of amazing pale orange statement heels. She made the outfit look so effortless that I wanted to recreate in my own way. I recently got these straight leg jeans from H&M and I love how they look. I've always stuck to skinny jeans in blue denim but I already know these are going to be featured a lot in my wardrobe. When looking for a statement pair of heels I came across this bright cobalt blue pair I bought from TopShop about five years ago. They are very high and hard to walk in but make a great statement. I paired them with this blue clutch I bought in a vintage store in New York that luckily is almost the exact same colour, and then added my trench to finish the look.

Even though I love all of these outfits, this last one has to be my absolute favourite as it encompasses all my favourite parts of the London Girl style. While I'm writing this, I have actually noticed that everything in this outfit is from H&M except for the headband. Definitely loving what H&M have to offer at the moment! Keeping the same jeans as the last outfit, I added this black blazer for structure and some square toed slip-ons. To finish the look I then added my small structured bag, thick hoops and then couldn't decide between a chunky headband or cap. I loved both but went with the headband as it looked a little more professional and reminded me of a beautifully chic lady I saw in London.
I love all of these outfits so much and will definitely be wearing them a lot. I'm so happy I have a place to put my creativity and ideas and hopefully share tips with others. Though a white t-shirt is so simple, it doesn't mean the whole outfit has to be plain. Remember accessories can change the whole vibe of an outfit. All my love
